“Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.” – Colossians 3:17
Here is a list of 10 things that God has given us, for which we can give Him thanks, as we ask His Holy Spirit to live out these things through us, in the name of Jesus Christ.
God’s Will for our lives
• To love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength
• To love your neighbor as yourself
• To flee evil
• To be joyful and give thanks in all circumstances
• To praise Him and worship Him
• To dwell on all that is good and pure and true
• To go therefore and make disciples
• To daily put on the full armor of God
• To daily take up your cross and follow Him
• To pray continually
“Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord; seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.” 2 Peter 1:2-3
These 10 things are part of the everything pertaining to life and godliness He has granted us, and we should be giving thanks for His provision.
