Honesty
“So a politician, a lawyer, and a car salesman are sworn to tell the truth…”
Sounds like the start of a joke—but it’s actually the start of an honest conversation about faith, work, and integrity. Yes, we actually invited three leaders whose professions are often associated with bending the truth — and asked them to talk honestly about it.
At this month’s Faith in Business breakfast, we’re exploring what honesty really looks like in the workplace—especially in professions where pressure, persuasion, and performance often reward stretching the truth. Our panel brings together a politician, a lawyer, and a car salesman who will speak candidly about the real ethical tensions they face and how faith shapes their decisions when the stakes are high.
This isn’t a keynote or a lecture. It’s a casual, guided conversation with real people, real stories, and real questions. There’s plenty of table discussion and interaction, giving you space to process, reflect, and learn alongside others navigating similar challenges in their work.
Faith in Business is designed for busy professionals who want to think more deeply about how faith intersects with everyday work—without the pressure or pretense. It’s a great setting to bring a colleague or friend, connect with leaders from across the city, and engage in a conversation that’s both thoughtful and practical.
Free breakfast. Honest dialogue. No punchline required.
Registration is required.

Meet the Panel
Tim McCoy
Tim McCoy is an Oklahoma City trial attorney and founder of the McCoy Law Firm. Over the course of his legal career, he has represented individuals and businesses in complex disputes where the facts are often contested and the stakes are significant. As an advocate for his clients, Tim works in a profession where persuasion, strategy, and competing narratives are part of the daily landscape. His work offers a close-up view of how truth, credibility, and judgment intersect when navigating conflict in the courtroom and beyond.
Court Diffee
Court Diffee grew up in the car business and now serves as Vice President and General Sales Manager of Diffee Ford Lincoln in El Reno. As a second-generation dealer, he works daily in a profession known for persuasion, negotiation, and—fairly or unfairly—a reputation for stretching the truth. Court leads in an environment where trust is both fragile and essential, seeking to build long-term relationships in an industry often driven by short-term wins.
Steve Jensen
Steve Jensen serves as Mayor of El Reno while also helping lead Jensen Farms and Jensen Feedlot, his family’s multi-generation agricultural operation. In public office, he operates in one of the few professions where credibility is constantly questioned and motives are often assumed. Balancing civic leadership with family business responsibilities, Steve brings a grounded perspective on what it looks like to pursue transparency and integrity in roles where public trust is both vital and hard-earned.
