Join us for breakfast and inspirational talk as Dr. Mike Strauss, Physics Professor at OU, talks about the intersection of science and faith. The breakfast is free, but you do need to register.

This quarterly event is hosted by Regent Bank. The Faith in Business Series was created to encourage business leaders to utilize their platform to live out their faith. This is a forum to help Christian business owners fellowship, network and share best practices for transformational servant leadership and to learn to better integrate faith into their spheres of business.

About the Speaker: Dr. Mike Strauss

Dr. Mike Strauss is a David Ross Boyd Professor of Physics at the University of Oklahoma. He conducts research in high-energy particle physics, currently with data from the ATLAS detector at CERN laboratory in Geneva, Switzerland where he studies the fundamental particles and forces that make up the universe. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in physical science from Biola University and his Ph.D. in experimental elementary particle physics from the University of California in Los Angeles. His previous research was done at the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center and the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. Dr. Strauss has spoken about the intersection of science and Christianity at universities, schools and churches throughout the world. He has the ability to explain complex topics in language that is simple and easily understandable, and to offer life applications based on scientific and biblical ideas. He is the author of The Creator Revealed: A Physicist Examines the Big Bang and the Bible, and one of the general editors of Dictionary of Christianity and Science, published by Zondervan.
