Introduction to Young Professionals

The CBMC Young Professionals program is designed to give businessmen like yourself a confidential peer-to-peer environment where faith and leadership intersect. We take a whole-life approach, emphasizing spiritual growth while addressing personal, business and relational challenges.

We regularly bring in Christian CEOs or community leaders who pass on impactful lessons they’ve learned in leadership and business, and we work together through exercises designed to develop and equip you as leaders.

Each group is led by a trained CBMC Leadership Coach with a seasoned business background and solid spiritual maturity. Members enjoy an environment of confidentiality, trust, friendship and long-term accountability … like having their own personal board of advisors. The objective is to help each man grow spiritually as they understand and live out God’s plan for their lives.

The group will meet monthly on the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 7:30a – 10:30a. We ask for a minimum 12-month commitment to the group, though most groups continue meeting for years.

YP GROUPS HAVE THREE OBJECTIVES:

Help each man grow closer to Christ, knowing how to discern His will and confidently apply biblical guidance in every area of life.

Create a cohort of mission-minded businessmen who will challenge and encourage each other to excel as Christian leaders in the marketplace.

Impart practical wisdom and experience from respected business and community leaders.

Do I belong in a CBMC Young Professionals group?

  • Are you a business leader (i.e. executive, business owner, or senior leader) or has your employer identified you as a strong prospect for future leadership?

  • Do you often feel conflicted by the pressure to grow in your career while maintaining balance in your personal life, and feel alone in that battle?

  • Would you like a confidential place to share your business, personal and spiritual challenges and successes with other like-minded business leaders who are also in your stage of life?

  • Would a regular exchange of best in business principles integrated with your spiritual values bring incremental value to your business?

  • Would you benefit from a group of carefully selected peers committed to journey with you for the long run as you lead your business, family and serve your community?

  • Are you lacking strategies to handle tough issues with employees, customers, vendors, and competitors that incorporate best in business principals integrated with a Christian work-view?

If the answer is yes to many of these questions, you are likely a good fit.
