COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS

Our highest priority continues to be the spiritual and physical health of everyone involved with or attending a CBMC team, group or event. As some of our teams and small groups offer the option to attend in-person, know that we are closely monitoring the updates from our city and state officials and are committed to following their recommendations to ensure your safety.

Here are the precautions we are taking in our small group gatherings:

  • FACE MASKS ARE REQUIRED to be worn at all times, except by the main speaker if they are appropriately distanced
  • Seats will be spaced at least 6’ apart
  • Hand sanitizer and face-masks provided
  • Thorough cleaning of surfaces before and after each meeting
  • Discouraged physical contact

Additionally, all of our meetings will continue using Zoom for those who cannot or should not attend in person. Certainly, if you fall into a high-risk category, have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive or exhibited symptoms of COVID, or if you yourself are ill, we ask that you stay home and join us via Zoom. Contact the group leader for details on how to join our teams online.

We want to encourage you to continue participating and inviting others to join you in these gatherings. We each need the encouragement and accountability that comes with biblical community, and we should also consider how God would use us to encourage others by our presence, prayers and concern. Let’s keep our focus on Christ and stay faithful to His call to be and to make disciples.

Thank you again for your faithfulness, your prayers and your understanding. God bless you!
